After the tornados came through the DFW area last night, the winds were super calm. First thing I did when I got home from work was tell my wife I'd eat later, grabbed my heli and went outside. Backyard is about 500ft across so plenty of room to get some FFF going on my V911.

Actually popped the blades off it when I didn't recover quick enough from a dive and my heli met the driveway. Thought, wow...my first parts I need to replace Went inside to switch out the blades and realized that they were able to just be popped back on.

I love this copter.

-You know, that's the idea: fly the heli and don't let her fly you! :-)

Yes, after rebuilding my Genius CP for the second time in 3 months, and (still) learning how to be being even more gentle on the sticks! I managed two 240mah... packs no crash or hard landings!

Yep, been flying a lot this week - all indoors as it's pretty windy or rainy lately...

Every morning before the family wakes, I spend 30 minutes to an hour on the sim working on coordinated turns. Then at my office I have been flying my mSR X working on slow curcuits, piros and perfecting the hover in all orientations.

I can't wait for the weather to improve!

Yes but with my Logo 500. My Gaui 200 is grounded until i lift up a floor board to find the washout arm i dropped that went straight through the gap. Thankfully that was upstairs so only a 1ft gap below the boards & not 4ft.

-Oh man that stinks :-)

I flew a pack on my modded King V2 this morning out back and got blown around pretty good. It was fun, but I for sure had to work. So my plan was to wait till later in the day; in the hopes that the wind died down. Well, the wind actually increased so I had to go down to the park & ride where I flew a pack in the wind with my 450. I called it quits after one pack, but didn't biff it :-)

Son took out 9958 with only mod of MSR flybar and did 5 front flips. Told me how to do it, did one and recovered about 5 foot above the ground. Awesome.

I found the washout arm, after i lifted the board i found it sitting on the bottom shelf of my work bench "D'oh". But i couldn't find the 2 micro teeny washers & then i dropped the bloody screw & another washer!! AAAAARRRHH!! These's things are just so tiny it can get frustrating to build.

I took my V120D02S out today and was scared stiff. I have been flying the stock MCPx exclusively for the past month and that was just so docile in comparison. I flew 3 packs with some inverted hovering and that was it. I did not dare try any flips or other stuff that I did with the MCPx. I just don't want to risk crashing the V120D02S anymore.

I took my 250s out today, nothing fancy, it was a bit windy, so i flew a couple of packs, then decided to call it in. I didn't want to risk it.
