Oh Danny_Swe,

Regarding your Alpha question, you can add Alpha to the cubemap dds in PS or GIMP. Making the cubemap images bigger helps as its better to add Alpha this way. (Height 1024 will do) This way you can also simulate see-through effects behind trees, eg between branches. Using skyline objects. Sadly it is only Transparent On or Off, so glass can't be simulated good....hope they will add it soon.

Also AFPD is AeroFly Professional Deluxe, other sim.

About the echo problem: I remember UMFC - Gnas - Dieterdorf (#16) sounded like flying in a tunnel when loading it up. You can switch the echo effect on/off by ticking "Enable reverb" under Program setup> Audio options.

If anyone has a working link to the "3D Masters" scenery (#181), please pass it over. It's such a good flying site. Everyone should have it.

Another Ircha, with a few variations. The first one (covered in #203) is essential with white boxes and pink cones. This one is sadly flawed. When you create obstacle courses and add tall inflatable gates, they'd better work properly. These don't! It's hard to figure out if you're behind or in front of them. It's possible to fly through them as well. File this one under promising but unfinished projects.

Mr Klaus from Germany is responsible for all the Thai fields posted here. His original Reu field is superb, with a light cloudcover, soft shadows and no curious spectators. I prefer Thailand in the rain season. Reu-2 is the sunshine version of the same flying site. (#29)

The images used in the 3D Masters are licensed by Reflex XTR, so most links are removed. Same goes for the AMA Muncie field photos. Seaky (creator) had to remove it as Reflex XTR complained about it.

I searched for 3DM UK yesterday and found it, but didn't grab it, was after Venlo myself. It's out there, somewhere

Mr Scraggy is a difficult person with several strange projects, most of them kept in a hidden vault. He's responsible for the finishing touches to the IrchaV2 project, so he might not be in a pleasing mood for some days. Scraggy also designed the Ishikari Sea Front, which we'd love to get our long fingers on...

We must find a "secret" link to 3D Masters, Northampton, UK. It's that good! Failure is not an option. Danny, the guy who converted it from the Reflex sim is a Swedish RC helicopter pilot. Do you know him? From the RunRyder homepage:

3D Masters -
Hello.
I have converted the airfield 3D Masters from Reflex XTR to PhoenixRc for you, ready to run.
Could you please drop me your email-adr. so I can send you the zip-file. I did not find any way to post it here on this forum.

Greetings

Leo4 TMFK Sweden.

(OK, it's the property of the maker of the Reflex simulator and held back. You'll find it if you travel to "distant" shores).

3D Masters, Northampton, UK - plain sweet:
