lipoy uses?

Curious? What requirements are there for Lipoly cells? ie - must you use a special ESC ? Will the lipoly work with standard can speed 400 motors? I know that the brushless motor requires that you use a brushless ESC? Can I use lipoly on either brushless setups or standard can? Thanks

You can use the Lipo packs in either brushed or brushless environments. Your ESC should be equipped with a low voltage cutoff, preferrably with a programmable one. The cutoff should be set to 3v per lipo cell, eg. 6v for a 2cell pack. If you have a non programmable ESC, then make sure you know the cutoff voltage and make sure you don't run the lipos too far down. If the plane begins to start losing power, land quickly.

10C 1500 MAH LIPOLY = 15AMP SERVICE

5C 1500MAH =7.5 SERVICE

MEASURE CURRENT DRAIN ON PLANE WITH NICAD OR NIMH USING
AMP CLAMP OR WATTMETER

CHECK C RATING OF PACK BEFORE RUNNING OR RESET THE THROTTLE TO 50% ON A DIGITAL TRANSMITTER
