Making a 5S battery
I am looking at the possibility of using a 2S and a 3S LiPo battery in series to make a 5S pack.
As long as the packs match (say Turnegy 2200 mAh 25C 3S and Turnegy 2200 mAh 25C 2S) are of the same age, in other words, starting as brand new packs does anyone see any problems?
I have been flying 2 x 2S for 4S and 2 x 3S for 6S, on both Heli's and planks and keep them as matched sets. The results are great and cost less than the factory 4S or 6S batteries. I now am looking at an airframe that would benefit from 5S and wonder if anyone is doing this?

Thanks for the reply.
I figured that it would probably be just fine but nice to have the concept verified.
Up in Gilbert I see. Have to get together and do some "Shop Talk" one of these days!!
