Yes - I have the Avro but don't yet feel brave enough to build a biplane!

One week on I've found the time to do the rigging - don't know why I'd been putting it off, it only took an hour to do both aircraft. I've used black shirring elastic so that it stays taught without being tight.

The engines look a bit bright so may get some weathering.

When did you get your baby kit? I haven't received mine yet?

The receipt is dated April 28th, and the kit arrived early May.

I know this is a bit off topic but I'm looking forward to the new micro announced yesterday!

I need to catchup and break open the glue.

What's new?

My Avro kit got lost in the shuffle but Bill made good and sent it last week. Look forward to building it.

EDIT: Just found the Clipped Taylorcraft as the next kit! Ohhhhhhhhh!

Sweeeeet candy cane

Hi guys
I finally got around to putting this kit together.
Maidened today and thought I'd share it here.
The covering is plain tissue. The pilot is foam.
AUW came to 36g. It's not a floater but flies pretty well in calm air

I was there to witness the maiden. She looks good in the air, but the pilot looks a little goofy with that Go Pro strapped on his head.
Next time I will get mine out for some combat.

No combat! You wouldn't hit a woman, would you?

At first, I thought I saw sideburns and mustache. After closer observation, I got even more confused.

Haha ... So true. It's supposed to be the helmet strap of course. Anyway put the beer goggles on and all you see is the boobs (not large enough or the plane would have been nose heavy)

Okay, we'll call it formation flying with accidental contact.
