New Flysky FS-i6

Hello

I just saw two new radios from Flysky, the FS-i6 and FS-i4 :

http://www.banggood.com/FlySky-FS-i6...-p-922606.html

As well as new matching receiver.

What are the differences compared to the FS-T6 that I just bought ?

if the i6 series is like all the other ones they make, then it is a telemetry
type radio.

not sure if they are backwards compatible with the earlier receivers tho. I know the i10
radios are,.

also not sure what the TX out put power is on that one yet.
some parts of the world require LOWER power out put compared to the USA versions.

looked closer at the TX specs and it looks like it is backwards compatible with the
standard receivers. :-)

High Guys,

I saw that topic was opened 4 months ago.
Is there anybody have some experience about this transmitter?
I am looking for my first trans for a ZMR250 quad and it seems a cheap choice within the 6 ch field.
Can be available under $60 with receiver + LCD.

Could be good to see minimally a range test. It seems quite new, so I did not find anything by google.

Have anyone uses the FS-i6. How does it compare to the FS-T6. Is there a review out somewhere on the FS-i6?

Have a look to the Flying3D X8 multirotor. It's using a nearly identical combo transmitter/receiver

FS-i6 & FS-T6 use different coding

The FS-T6 use the AFHDS coding protocol whereas the FS-T6 the second generation AFHDS 2A coding (two-way communication) giving you telemetry capability on the RX battery status. In addition, FlySky claimed that you will get longer range and better anti-jamming feature.

Yes, got one last week NIB on eBay. Haven't used it in a plane yet, but bound it to the receiver, got telemetry for rx voltage and good range check. Also bound to the older receivers, worked fine too.

No wattage output given in the manual, but Flysky claims in the manual:
* "uses a high gain and high quality dual antenna system, guaranteeing a jam-free long range radio"
*"the radio uses high efficient low power consumption electronics, using 1 / 10th the power of an FM system"
There are several new radios out there that only use ~4.8V transmitter batteries, so I wouldn't think battery voltage = range.

Hey Guys,
I'm a recent flysky convert from my old JR XP 8103, and I was wondering if anyone could find out if this radio has expo. I know the little T6 B does not, and if this one does I'd like to get it.
Thanks!
