How did you like the Blade XL yesterday, JOe? It's the carbon version, right?

Dom- had it out today for a little while in some HUGE winds.. this plane is AMAZING... 75mm is way nose heavy IMO...im back at 82 now and could go back further...

takes a fair bit of snap flap to really come alive.. and boy could it pop a turn... flaps are SO effective in this kinda wind.. i was flying in reverse at any time i wanted too...

the build is super easy.... easier than the Mini blade and 2m blade for sure.. with aileron/flap coupled 50% to the aileron 100% this thing rolls HARD, like flying a 60" plane rolls were fast and perfectly axial.... DS'ing was something else... ive never had to open my laps up so HUGE in order not to kill it... it was flexing bad at the 150-160 range (purely guessing considering im not tuned to see'ing a plane of this size DS, i can call a 60" time within 10mph usually) i was basically knocking on the peoples house down the hill to ocme back up... so i wouldnt fold it..... for lighter lift hill, this plane would be a great DS'er cause it got to speed super fast...

overall i really dig the plane... only flew it yesterday and today (for about 30 minutes) but im really diggin the BIG planes now... the 60's dont feel the same... uh ohh... more money
