on my 50cc rcg, I use masking tape, just make 2 or 3 wraps, untill the prop fits snug! although my 50cc has a 4 bolt pattern!

theoreticaly, the prop washer, and backing plate, actualy hold the prop!

You don't have any problems with prop balance? I did find some 8-10mm reduction bushings from http://www.electricwingman.com/reduc...mm-insert.aspx

any noticable vibration, goes away at a click or two above idle!

which is the same as all the props before!

+1 I've also done it without any problems.

I only did if five minutes ago on an electric adaptor, but instead of masking tape, i used thread tape that plumbers use to seal pipe leaks etc.. I wrapped it nice and tight and the prop fits nicely.
