Here ya go! The square cage has a pivot on bottom. The 't' contained by cage is free to pivot in vertical plane. The elevator servo connected to cage. Rudder servo connected to the 't' via horn located as near to cage pivot as possible. Some mocking up via balsa and card stock should give the throws you need.

If the elevator pivot is put in line with the servo to rudder horn then a voluntary control input to one mode won't cause an involuntary control input to the other mode. I love evolutionary thought processes!
