Finished 2 racks today

Well I finished building 2 of my PVC racks.... still need to make some more. Not all the planes have a space yet. Got the idea from this site.

Ok, I know someone has to say it, so it might as well be me. Nice rack!!!

Seriously, that is awesome. I may have to do something similar.

You may be surprised to find out who the talented person is that built that rack.

Nice. You could add another side like I did. Double the storage! The vertical pipes started getting kind of bendy so I dropped a piece of 1/2" steel rebar down inside of them.

Yes thanks,,,, I thought about that I was thinking some copper tubing that was about the same ID........ My room is 16x16 right now and most of that is taken up with the work bench and some tool box tables..... I like how you used the 45 Deg bends for the legs... that's a fine idea.... As for all the RACK jokers in the thread. LOL,,,,,,,,, Buzzzzz off

Ok. Honestly, you did a great job on those racks. I may have to build some myself, if I ever get the time. I know, how about you cut and number all the parts, and I will buy a kit off you. You would make a lot of guys happy around here if you were to start selling kits.

Copper pipe would work good and would be a whole lot lighter. More expensive though. You can see how the pipes started to bend. I bumped into the rack and it bent more and dumped models off one side. The imbalance caused it to bend the other way dumping models off the other side too!
