Esky EK2-0420A Connections
I'm returning to aero modelling after a 40 year break. I have an Esky EK2-0420A receiver (green one with the pins on the end) that I want to use in a small r/c airplane, what are the correct connections? I guess B is for power input & centre pin is +ve but which is -ve? What about connections 1-7? I have Tower Pro servos with red, orange & brown leads which way should the connectors be plugged in? I'm guessing that a Futaba crystal will work ok but does it matter which way round it is? I want to use my Futaba 6 channel transmitter with it (mode 1) also maybe my Esky 0404 transmitter (mode 2). The model responds to commands using my Futaba FP-R138DF & FP-R128DF receivers but no response using the Esky receiver. Your input will be most helpful I feel sure.

Zag.. I would point you towards watching a very helpful video that will eliminate many of your questions.
Finless Bob White is known as one of the best sources for how to videos and covers nearly everything.
B is for external power
ch 3 is for esc
The rest depends on your radio.. gyros are often in channel 5
The simplest way to figure it all out is to install everything, unplug the motor.. plug in the esc and gyro.. and do a little trial and error.
Watch Bobs vids.. you will be glad you did!
