Repair Surface Damage Habu 32 Nose, Fiberglass
Our local Habu flyer had his first mishap with his Habu 32 and the nose has suffered some cosmetic damage. The nose its self is fine just the surface color is missing in spots. My thought was to remove any loose black color spots and use finishing resin with micro balloons but since it has been 20 years since I have done any glass work I thought it better and safer to get opinions first.

I would use some finishing resin first to let it "soak" in and re stiffen the cloth. Then some resin/micro balloons for a finish coat and repaint. If needed some light cloth on the inside to reinforce any weak areas.
