JR that are 2.4GHz ARE Spectrum. Horizon owns them.

Spektrumized Hitec's

Many Hitec radios can take a Futaba Spektrum module, the DM8. You can find DM8's used for very reasonable prices.

I have Spectrumized two Optic 6's and an Eclipse 7 this way, they work great, just a touch more idle servo jitter noise than a DX 7 but no significant physical arm jitter.
