Any Good 3D Kits (do they exist)?

I love my 3D ARFs but I'm still a bit old school and was wondering if there were any good 3D kits (not ARFs, but good old fashioned build-it-yourself balsa and plywood and glue kits) available?

I actually still enjoy building and was thinking of making it a winter project.

That HK kit is actually a nice find! Fifteen bucks and a two foot Wingspan, flying weight 250g, would make a good windy day project. Thanks.

I'm a bit shocked there are not more available - the profiles look nice but I was thinking of something more conventional and a bit larger.

You could just order an ARF and step on it

Seriously though, have you tried scratch building? There are some awesome plans on the forums. Plus the few I've made, simple deprons and even one from corflute (for sale sign), give me a huge amount of pleasure and pride especially the first time they fly. I highly recommend 'purfoamance' if you don't mind trying a full fuse foam, flew even better than my 3dhs 41" edge!

I just happend to find these plans today, it looks like the pitts will be a good flyer. But i don't know what size you was looking for, most of all of it is built with 1/32 sheet balsa I know it's not 3D, but anyone can fix that by enlarging the Rud,Elv,&Alr's. And also adding a good brushless motor... I hope this helps someone with this nice hobby we all have a passion for.
