Build Log
Built up in 5 hours

Last week I "accidentally" visit a hobby shop Mibo, and buy four carbon rods, just in case if I find out some day what to do with them.

Well, I get an idea driving home already

I remember the simplicity of known Kolibri indoor model (look at link below), so I decided to built something similar, but of course larger, for my heavier RC equipment.

I want to use:

BL motor ROXXY 2827-34
battery Flight Power EVO 20 800mAh 3S1p 11,1V
speed controller Robbe Magic-Speed 18
pair of MS-X2 servos,

because that was laying in my drawers unused...

I build the model in two days, not working more than 2 or 3 hours a day.

The result you can see on that video:
Parkflyer & music (2 min 31 sec)

Thanks! That is a purpose of the video.
Hope, many of you will enjoy seeing it.

Yes, model flies like a dream.

But it dont want to fly fast. If want to push the envelope it gets nasty at high speeds.... cant decide if want to fly level, or suddenly climb or dive.
Maybe because of the "strange" airfoil of the wing....

Nice plane! A few years back when I was making kites I found that you could "cut" that ripstop nylon with a hot soldering iron and it would cauterise the edge and keep it from fraying. Just a tip.
