Video following the Canal

Most of this was shot flying via the video downlink from the plane. We decided to spy on the people working on the canal. Also for a little while we track down a road that runs parallel to the field.

Here's the link

Yes it was. There was a slight wind and the plane kept weather vaining. However it was a nice 60 degrees out. The Lipos came down ice cold!

Cool video. No dropouts or even static, what are you using for a recieving antenna ? Its freezzzzzzzing here, with more snow tomorrow night. It would be neat to get some video of the snow, but its to darn cold to set everything up, by the time I finished I would be so cold I would not even be able to fly move the sticks on the transmitter

That was neat....didnt you have HUD on some of your other videos?

Yes I did have the HUD on the other videos. I've been keeping it off the electric to save on power and weight. I'm debating if i want to put it on the glow plane. I have telemetry coming down other ways. I'm trying to get away from video clutter.
