Lockey, Any chances of getting tiled plans for this plane? Love the way it looks, and especially the neat build! I envy you such a clean working area and a convenient table that's big enough to hold the cut pieces!

Thanks Guys, I have used almost 1 bottle of Foam-Tac so far, BUT have used it for everything

Aus, here is where I got the foam-Tac, http://www.rcfoam.com/product_info.p...fd9c51094cbd45

When I got it a couple of months ago it was US$7.99 a bottle plus shipping .. cost altogether (including $25 shipping) for 4 bottles was US$56.95 .. not cheap BUT ... boy is it good

I built the whole thing (so far) in one evening about 4-5 hours, only other glue you could do this with would be foam safe CA. (had all the parts cut out earlier)

Have found a couple of minor mistakes on the plan and a couple of mods I need to do to make the build a little easier ..

Because its a 133% size, it takes about 3 and a half sheets of Depron (including both sets of wings)

I am hoping to do some more on the build this weekend

Managed a few more hours building today

First I will say, Foam-Tac is great for foam joints that are a good tight fit BUT not so good for filling at all

Crap for fitting carbon spars BUGGER I thought I had found an easy way to do these, If you use too much it just burns though the foam

Great for making hinged surfaces ailerons, elevator etc

Not too good for sanding when will I find a glue that sands good.

Anyway a few more pics of the build
