Mach None twin

So I have this idea to build a Mach None converted to electric. I know this has been done. I will use a 2212-06 with an apc 6x4 on 3 cells. But then I got thinking why not build a two fuselage style twin with stretched wing and tail. I think I'll call it the Double O' Nothing. Any body out there interested in seeing what will happen? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Definitely interested in seeing what will happen.

Suggest sorting out the expensive bit placement and attendant wiring issues well before applying the covering/painting the finished model

Am always amazed we've not seen more multis since e-power got loose. It just about takes away the 'suddenly it became assymetric' problem of oily multis.

Good luck with the project

Thanks for the advice. I'm going with foam core wings and built up fuse. Thinking of 2 1300 mah 3s batts. Also going to install rudders and make it a taildragger. Keep the suggestions and encouragement coming. Don't want this one to 'die on the vine' so to speak.

Mach bagel, mach nicht bagel. Sorry, I couldn't resist. Sometimes these thread titles send my mind scurrying down strange corridors.

Don't forget the differential throttle with a twin. Now a true 'cartwheel' is something single motor models can only dream about

Can you give some more detail about setting up differential throttle? It sounds like fun!

There are a few threads regarding differential throttle, basically it is mixing a twins throttles with rudder -

Differential throttle-steering on an elec. twin

The Twins: multi purpose cargo plane scroll down to post #116.

There are other references as well. Have fun

Addition: I use it on my Sunderland for better water steering, but some twin fliers have used it in flight.

.

Thanks Eflightray,
I did some reading and I think I'll try the V-tail mixer as I have one.
