OK, next level voting.
The EPO has it but there is still a lot of interest in the old spec too.
Therefore I propose a hybrid.
We use the old spec planes given their wingspan and type (WWII warbirds Reno Style) but allow both EPO and EPP
The span of the smallest GWS plane was the A6M2 Zero @ 33.5" (850mm) http://www.gwsus.com/english/product/product.htm so let's use this as the minimum span entry.
(The bigger span you go, the more mass exists on the same motor/prop/3S combo but a sleeker design can make up for this shortcoming...)
I think if we allow the old spec EPO and new spec EPP planes to fly together, keep the minimum span and use Adams proposed motor/prop combo we will succeed in competitive flying whilst keeping the majority happy.
So to test this, the poll has but a few choices
