Not sure why you would purchase 2, you need to print them yourself.

It can be useful for both aircraft mounting as well as ground station mounting. I have decided to sell the .STL files for it to help fund my hobby and to be able to afford other equipment to continue designing enclosures or UAV gear (Recently graduated college and broke lol). I figured offering just the .STL will allow people to make as many enclosures as they want, and to have control on material/color/quality of the 3D print. If you'd like any changes to the design, please let me know and I'll modify to suit your specific needs. PM me if interested. For now, I've posted the design on ebay, and I will email the file to you after purchase.

I'm sure as heck not trying to steal your fire or anything, it's really bulky. There were already cases that were pretty large. Here was my solution. You might get some ideas. Maybe create a cross between the two.

Here's a revision to my enclosure design. This one is intended to mount to booms(tubes), masts, etc. Will custom make any clamp up to 30mm for you (ad shows 20mm boom):

HI,

I have the 900Mhz RFdesign modems, but I am getting only 3km distance, using the stock antenna. What I should do to get 20km, 40km distance...?

From my experience the new RDF900+ has much more range than the old RFD900.

For very long range use a Yagi on the ground with an antenna tracker. There is firmware available to make a Pixhawk tracker. I just set up my tracker and am waiting for spring to give it a try.

Something is terribly wrong. You should be able to easily get 20km using stock RFD antennas.
You didn't say which side was having trouble, airborne or ground. Also, are both units RFD900's?
I use a RFD900 on the ground with RFD dipoles and a 3DR clone on the airborne side with a RFD flex antenna. I get 15km easy.
You may have some RF noise on the side that is getting only 3km?

The telemetry is stopping at the mission planner, How can I know which one has a problem?

Yep. You should automatically have % good packets received in the upper right hand corner of the HUD. You can customize the HUD to show the others real time or play back your telemetry.

Take the .tlog file and graph the RSSI and NOISE for local and remote if the noise gets up to the rssi then you will loose the signal.
