Royal B25 Mitchell
Just acquired a partially built kit. Missing the plastics (canopy, nose, turret, and tail). Anyone have a source for these parts?

Wow! I built one of these in the 1970s. Awsome kit for the time. Powered by a pair of K&B .40s. Gutless, but that is what we had back then. Put in Goldberg retracts. All three gear run off one Futaba servo. Difficult to time the pushrod linkage but that is what we had.
Futaba had just introduced transistor R/C radios into North America. I was a young teacher in north Ontario and thought I had discovered the perfect hobby. Had to drive 4 hours to Toronto to buy R/C stuff. Saw the Royal B25 box (with my name on it, same as the officer it was named after) and spent hours building what I thought was the most incredible kit I had ever seen. Royal were those mysterious Japanese R/C models that cost a lot and were the best available.
Forty years later, retired in south Ontario and still building. What a hobby!
I have Squadron #34 "In Action" and the British Profile #59. If you need scans of 3 views or colour plates let me know.
Good luck with your search.
