Panasonic 2000 NuMh
I have been running a pack of 10x Panasonic 2000 NiMH in a jet for a while now, charging @1C max. Last flight was a 14 minute flight, used warm off the charger, but when I came down the shrink had ripped over ONE cell only and it was very hot compared to the others. I did a 1C charge again, new shrink wrap and the same thing happened sitting on the ground, that one cell wrapped in Kapton underneath became so hot it melted the shrink wrap again, all other cells were OK.
I guess I need a new pack, or should I just throw it up in a plane ? What is a good alternative to these Panasonic 2000 NiMH, everything else I have is NiCd.
