Looks interesting. I am guessing that this is the next step up from the Easy Glider Pro?

I can't believe this model isn't generating more interest !

For me, this just might be the one that gets me back into gliding again after flying mainly sport models for a while.

There is another video link posted by Jurgen over in the foamies kits area. The first 8 mins or so is dedicated to lots of chat (in German) but there's lots of good flight footage later.

Looks like a winner to me.

Prices in Europe give or take a few euros:

Kit 108 euros
RR 250 euros

The kit version appeals as it should be possible to source servos, motor, esc to complete the model for less than 200 euros.

I've been mulling this over for a while. I've just made the decision. Tomorrow morning I'm going into my LHS to place an order for the kit version.

Another vid

Just came across this. Quality not great but the solius appears to fly very well. I ordered mine this morning.

Solius von Multiplex (6 min 1 sec)

What a nice flying sailplane, great video too.

Steve not sure when these are going to arrive over here in the US, but please, when and if you have the chance, show us detailed photos of yours, thanks! Cheers, Thompson

Sure, consider it done.

The model shop guy said next week. But, he's said that to me many times in the past and I've had to wait much longer. He's actually a member of our club and we often joke that it's quicker to get stuff from China than it is from him. However, despite this I think it's important to support his business as it's so convenient to pop in for an odd servo, or lead, and especially so for me as I live just 100m from the shop.

Back to the photo's....I'll do my best to do a detailed photo account and include component weights, etc.

This will be a first for me here as I normally arrive at the party just as it's winding up.
