Cheap Headplays, do they still exist?

Hey, I remember back a few months ago when I DIDN'T have the money to buy them, dell was selling headplays for 99$, does anyone know where any deals are for them other than $300? Or if anyone would want to sell theirs that are NIB just sitting on a shelf let me know, thanks! :-)

I'm thinking that's what I'm going to have to do... IDK, I've been a customer for awhile with RV, maybe they'll cut me a deal seeing as I'm buying a few other things from them.

what's wrong with headplays without a box? $225 is pretty dang cheap, they were $500 a few years ago when I was first looking in goggles, haha.

that said, people have commented on the dominators having a really good picture, better picture and colors than the fatshark base's. Might look into them, they are more rugged than headplays

although the headplays have 800x600 resolution, FPV transmissions can only do 640x480 res, so there is really no reason to have more then that.

dominators have great support, upgradability, and are purpose built for FPV.

headplays are discontinued, non upgradable, and you have to use a liberator box (should be called ball and chain IMHO).

plus, fatshark is just a good name in the FPV world.

"what goggles you use?"
"Fatshark Dominators"
"oooOOOOOOOOOOOOooo"

Id go the Fatsharks for sure, I never liked the headplays at all, picture might have been great but it just sat on ur head wrong, heaps of sunlight in the sides, small screens - IMO.

Headplays are great. I got one for $99 shipped, and the image looks better than fatsharks. The liberator is definitely a ball and chain, but I if you don't mind sitting down on a chair while you fpv then it's not an issue. Some people walk around and fpv at the same time, I can't do that lol.
