Will there be enough of these models manufactured so that one doesn't have to be "in the know" to buy one?
I noticed that some recent 2M F3A models were made in very small batches and sold out before they ever reached the US.

Couldn't say.... I'm bettin' the first run will be in short supply in a short period of time. Maybe it would be a good idea to give them a call now if you want one..

Emailed them over the weekend and just got a reply saying that everyone must wait until they are listed as available on the website.

Who makes the Vanquish 2M?

I will probably be interested in moving up from my Osiris this summer. Trying to figure out all of the good 2m ships out there.

Extreme flight, hopefully in the same container as the 60" Edge's....I fear they will be like rocking horse doo doo to get in the UK.

I personally think that EF could/will do really well with this 2M Vanquish....the step up at the moment from something like an Osiris or the Wind 110 to a 2M in terms of price is massive - this fills that gap nicely, and having had EF in the past i'm sure it'll be fantastic!

Plus, with the Vanquish being a balsa/ply airframe it should be straight forward to build as the composite stuff always puts me off as they look complicated to build.

If the Vanquish 2m sells well it could have a major impact on the pattern world in general. It will certainly fly well for all of the lower classes, and if it's truly F3A capable, it could REALLY change the market.

Any guesses on how long it'll take for someone to stick a T-canalizer on it?

I really want a 2M pattern plane.

My dilemma is..... I own an Osiris. It's the best flying airplane I have ever flown. The 2M Osiris is in the making, but I don't know when it will come out.

I have never flown an Extreme Flight airplane but I have heard a lot of good things. The price will probably be the same, maybe a little cheaper for the 3DHS Osiris.

Since you have a great flying airplane, my thought is to wait for flight reports of the Vanquish. I know it's hard to wait, but always good to learn from others' experience. Find out how the suggested motor works, if there are problems, if people decide certain mods need to be made, etc. I have a feeling it will work right out of the box, but you never really know.

I personally have put off having a 2M airplane just for the sake of having a 2M airplane. My plane, and the Osiris, will give an honest flight and show me where I'm going wrong. A 2M plane won't fix my veering during slow rolls, only I can do that. If people say the Vanquish is a real winner, then at that price go for it.
