Hobby King customs invoice

Anyone notice the low declared value on the customs invoice? I suspect that is the sellers cost. What say you??

No Dave; That is the price, so it clears customs with no duty. It is just skirting the law in a gray area.

I believe it is the true value of the items in the box. The difference between that and what you pay if their profit.

Nah, they are just under-declaring. It's quite common with international distributors, at least into this country.

The customs laws are not enforced in the united states because large international corporations also benefit from breaking these laws, and we all know they are the puppet masters and those that would enforce the laws the puppets.

Do you really think that walmart declares the right value for their imports?

I've seen the most moral and honest men fall victim to the "Everybody else does it" excuse.
