I think the big whoopty-do over it will be more emotionally damaging than the relationship. It could have been like "I tried an older girl and it didn't work out". Now it's national shame for them.

Of course, if the roles were reversed and it was a female student and a male teacher ... I'd being bringing a pitch fork ... yes ... it is a double standard ... and yes ... I do have a daughter.

Used to be when about any male spoke through a girl's third eardrum it returned a no answer. As long as it was there she could hear through it. I guess the clothes they wear these days block off the sensitivity of the third eardrum and they do not hear well enough to make a better conclusion.

There was a story about the same type of thing that happened here in PA that I was reading about a few months ago. I was thinking the same thing. Then I read story about another female teacher from the same school district that died from ODing on heroin...then I was glad I didn't go to those schools.
