NitroPlanes Fun Fly Event and Competition

Hi Everyone! We’re having our very first fun fly event which includes $1750 in prizes! Free food and drinks for all! Everyone is welcome! (AMA membership is required to fly)

*UPDATE* We will be bringing many products to showcase and sell including products from NitroRCX.com, NitroPlanes.com, XHeli.com, and HobbyPartz.com!

EVENT SCHEDULE:

9 AM to 10:30 AM -Registration for pilots to fly during the open flying session (Special raffle tickets given to pilots to win prizes)

9 AM to 4 PM -Registration for spectators (Receives raffle tickets to win prizes)

10:30 AM to 1 PM -Open flying session for pilots who registered. Bring your own planes, any type; 5 minutes per pilot.

1 PM to 2 PM -Guest Speakers including Dave “Nightflyyer” Herbert and special flying demonstration.

-Pre-competition meeting for pilots registered in the Main Event (Refer to FLYER below for more information)

2 PM to 4 PM -Main event flying competition. Judges will be from different clubs and Nightflyyer himself.

-Main prize will be judged on performance, speed, entertainment value, and getting through certain obstacle courses.

4 PM to 5 PM -Award Ceremony, Raffles, and Giveaways!

Please show up between 9 am and 10:30 am for open flying registration. You may bring your own plane, any type. AMA membership is required to fly. There will be raffles, prizes, and many RC products to buy. See you there!

Also the Corona Clubs swapmeet starts at 8:00 in the morning , same day , same place .................

I went to the fun fly today , a GREAT time was had by all ! The day started with the Corona clubs swapmeet , I did rather well selling a bunch of "extra" stuff , We had plenty of cold drinks on a very hot day , had some very entertaining demo's , then there was the edf comp. which was also very fun to watch , and then a very nice raffle ( i won a complete plane with radio ) then there was some very good pizza served ( by the nitro girls i might add ) all in all the only thing i would change was the heat , so my congrats again to Nitro Planes for running a very, very well run fun fly , there was tons of pizza and drinks left over , i really hope they do it again next year ! THANKS ! .... Dennis

R. Vincent is a member our club and he won the grand prize in the raffle .. A 500$ gift cert.
