neutral? thats not good man. ive got about 1 deg up in the wing, and the stab is trimed to about 2 deg up. if you dont have any incidence in the wing, or enough stab control, your going to have problems. mine in no way flies lie its nose heavy. it is on the fwd range of the cg still, but flies very very nice. inverted flight doesnt tae too much down.

Repairs are done. Just letting the filler dry now to hide all the crack lines.

holy i just ran the aeo 8 blde 40mm rotor on a kms 5100 inrunner....good mother. soo smooth, sooo much air!!! ill get some watt numbers later. pretty damn impressed. i just stuck it on there too. i thin a dot of super glue will be all it needs to hold on. the KMS has a 3mm shaft, and it fit nice and snug on the rotor with no mods to rotor. almost plug and play....now that i like. too bad the kms motor is 21mm diameter, or it would drop right into a gws 20mm shroud.

CN: If I had 2 UP incidence in my stab, I would've been in even more trouble...

I had a real close look and I do have a tad of up incidence in the wing.

i ran up the 40mm 8 blade today, on a KMS 5100kv inrunner (phase 3 F-16 stock motor) i got 340W on 4s, 23A without a shroud....i fully expect 400W with a shroud and tail pipe......oh...i just pressed it on(3mm shaft) and it ran smooth as freakin silk.....and sounded AWSOME! was pushing TONS of air!!

who needs a neu motor when i can go buy a KMS motor from hobby people for 30 bucks??????????

ouch!!!! i think its a combo of cg, and needing more stab throw. you look like you have a little more sweep than me.....so you would need to move the cg back..id go about 6mm back from where im at.

Now you can see why I was trying to get a top-down shot to work out the CoG? guesses cost lives (or in this case, repair time). Why guess when it's not hard to calculate??
