Super-G Autogyro EPO 1080mm

A New Gyro-Copter Hits The Market.

Splash

A Fun Twist To Flying.

HobbyKing released a gyro-copter in the past that did the job for a crossover in helicopter/plane flying. Now they have released a new version of that popular bird. The new Super-G Autogyro is the answer, this larger version has more power and of course is larger for better visibility. 4 channel control and made from the ever so popular EPO foam.

The main difference from the original version besides the size is the auto start function. With the flip of a switch, you can start the main rotor head which tremendously decreases the adverse yaw torque you get from traditional gyro copters. I can see a fun time with this new Super-G Autogyro flying at dusk with a mild LED system.

I have the Auto G2 (not the original auto G) and really have nothing more than some taxi time and a few take offs and landings. Different beast for sure, would be interested to see how this new one does with the different set up!

Hi good buddy!

The build.....er assembly was cake.

Had to add the Rudderman touch and remove all the HK graphics which shown the name but left the stripes on.

I also painted the hub, and prop. Yes. I balanced the prop and the main blade assembly along with weighing the three blade bolts.

Now the main hub assembly is perfectly balanced. Now to the main blades. I'm pretty anal when it comes to a perfectly flying model as you can personally attest to right Joe?

Oh yeah. One more thing.

If you plan on removing the graphics, use very strong masking tape. Do not use a knife.

The new graphics are like water transfer decals. Very thin and rip easily. Not like the older thick versions used on similar models.

Ask me how I know.....
