Thanks Roy.

I took the unprecedented step of buying a copy of QEFI yesterday and saw a very brief report in there that he 'passed away after a short illness' on 22 Feb. We have lost a great bloke!

For fly-in dates I was looking at dates around the usual place in mid June and the published listings don't go into August yet.

Thanks again.

Robin

Had a good few days, made leaps and bounds. A little bit still to do round the tail but almost ready for a coat of primer.

Looking good Roy. You'll be back in the air in no time!

I've got a few repairs on mine to do as well. First flight of the year at a fun fly and I ran off the edge of the field into a freshly plowed farmer's field and knocked a few holes in the bottom of one nacelle. Not too bad, but I might just tape up the holes and do the repairs in the fall.

The good news is that a small cooling exit behind the wind kept the ESC's happy throughout the flight.

Sorry to hear that you've a little mishap Jim, however I have every confidence that you repairs will return her to good as new condition. It's good to hear that your still fly her on a regular basis.

The small cooling hole behind the wing sounds like it a good mod for me to consider on mine, How small is small BTW.

Work has slowed a little on my rebuild, but still managing to pick off some of the little jobs hear & there. Still hoping to have her flying some time in July.

I had a delivery last week of all the new decals from Pyramid Models including the MB logo's. Where would we be with out businesses like them doing one off job's for us, or in my case repeat orders!
