Hello to all.
I have one idea, but i cant do it in real life!
The idea is to use serial modem like:
1)http://www.mikrokopter.de/ucwiki/en/RadioTronix
2)https://store.3drobotics.com/products/3dr-radio
3) or even serial bluetooth module(much more preferable)

First modem will be attached to PL and second one to PC side.
I found one scheme from Russian forum where one guy use DIY "FUIM3" cable.
I know when i connect genuine FUIM3 cable, i can see in device manager that its recognize as USB serial port.
I also can connect my modem to PC via FTDI board and in device manager i will see USB serial port.
Problem to me is how to connect modem to PL, as modem have (rx,tx,gnd and 5v) and on PL i have (gnd, 5v and signal).
How you think, can we make some wireless connection between PL and PC.
Thank you.

Today i try to connect PL to PC by Wi232 serial modem, but with out luck!
If you see scheme in my previous post, you can see "FT232" chip, i just change this "FT232" to my serial modem.
What is default serial console speed? 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600 and 115200 bits per second?
I choose 9600 bits per sec in both modem.

Cycling is for performing charge and discharge cycles. This is useful for pack testing and categorization.

The Powerlab is a battery workstation. Useful for more than just charging pack. Its offers a very powerful lab tool for testing packs categorizing battery packs of all chemistries.

Are you using the Charge Control Software (CCS)?
If so you can find explanations for each of the preset parameters on your computer. Just position the mouse pointer over each parameter and short description will be displayed. For more information click on the parameter.

Each of the LiPo presets has the option of Charging, Discharging, Monitoring, or Cycling the LiPo battery. The charger is asking you what you want to do.

Charging, Discharging, and Monitoring are, or should be, self explanatory.
Cycling is a function whereby the pack is charged then discharged some number of times. This can be set for none, or 1 to 20 cycles. Generally you will have no use for this function, Set the Cycles parameter in the Discharge tab to None.

PS: Greg types faster than I do.

Perhaps, but I like your reply better than mine. The popup text is a hidden gem in the CCS. Thanks for the reminder. Also, you can download the software and run it without a charger connected. This would let your read all of the pop-up text even if you don't have a USB connector, or even have a Powerlab.

As Greg said you can run the software without connecting to the charger. Obviously you cannot perform any functions but it will still be worth your time to get familiar with the software.
