The esc and motor are running cooler than stock! I didn't measure amp, but I think the esc would even handle a higher pitch prop.
Remember that this video is at wintertime in cold Norway:-) I don't know if there would be problems in hot weather.

Will try a different prop from Hobbyking. The one on top from HK seems to have a higher pitch. Same diameter 35mm.

How did you secure the " threaded socket" to the new prop?

My upgrade mod

I upgraded the boat.

1. Custom made stainless steel shaft with threaded prop end.

2. Atomic Fireball 15T brushed motor.

3. Universal joint coupler.

4. I used the standard FT009 motor mount. It's a direct fit. Reviews on this motor are for a non water cooled race buggy. Comments say" This motor runs hot." The OE aluminum cooling tube wrap is required. It fits snuggly on the motor. With a little wiggling, the motor with cooling coil, fit perfect into the OE motor mount

I did a sink test on it. Plenty of power! No leaks. No vibrations

Full run in the pond next.
