I read that the t28 is better for landing and take off since the landing gear is a tricycle instead of a tail dragger.

I have also read that both planes behave very similar in the air.

im new but i have been flying dw foamies yak and juka doing some cool stuf so im sure i can fly one of these , i think , lol

Guys in our club have altogether 3 Trojans, 3 Corsairs and 2 Mustangs.

The PZ T28 Trojan and PZ Corsair fly about the same in the air. Both are stable and perform well and are the most popular aileron trainers for good reason. Both have great scale looks flying. The newer Trojan (silver top and bottom) is harder for newbies to see orientation further away. The Corsair has lighter blue and some white on the bottom and is easier to see orientation.

The Trojan has tricycle landing gear, and take offs and landings are generally easier. Most of us here take the gear off Trojans and Corsairs (they look so cool without feet hanging down), and they do hand launch and belly landings easy.

The new PZ P51 Gunslinger is way better than the earlier PZ P51. It has higher wing loading than Trojan and Corsair and takes a little more skill because it's faster and responds quicker. No landing gear but hand launch and landing are easy, and it looks so cool flying.

what kind of flight times are you getting with 1800mah , i have about 7 1300mah so i would have to upgrade or just fly for 5 min

^My friend has 1300's and 2200's, all 20C. With the 1300mah, using WOT a lot, I can get about 5 minutes or so- more with less aggressive throttle.

With the 2200s and aggressive throttle, around 8-9 minutes, 10-12 with gentle throttle use ;0

With the 3 planes mentioned above we generally fly about 6-8 min and then land to get mentally regrouped. Without doing a lot of WOT the 1800mah will certainly go plenty longer.

Today we had a couple newbies doing flights with the buddy box with a T28, and we ran out of the usual 1800 batts. A couple 1300mah batts we had left gave them each another nice flight.

For some guys longer flights is a goal, but my personal opinion (and that of other guys here) is doing shorter flights and more of them is a better flying experience. Try your 1300s for a while and see what you think.
