Binary IV PNF Assembly (All- in-pod)

We started Binary IV test before several months. And now it releases two versions: ARF and PNF (Plug and Fly).

I’d like to share photos of PNF assembly procedure here.

My friends maidened my BIV when I was away on vacation...haha!! they told me it flies great.
I will get it out flying this week, looking really good so far. If there's an ARF and PNF version it would be awesome!

I ordered one servos installed. It shipped 11-29 and arrived YREKA today WOW! Unfortunately I left on vacation moments later and could not open the package , which by the way looks bullet proof. I will post an abbreviated build log as I only have to install the receiver and battery.

Got to open the package today. I am not disappointed. The plane weighs 243g with servos 3 in pod. Unfortunately to balance at the recommended 70mm the plane weighs 291g. I think I can remove some weight on the elevator control horn and tail carbon fiber skid. I will post those pictures tomorrow. The build is very clean and the plane looks very nice. If it is not to cold I will fly it also.

CG can be set to 75-78mm, according to my test.

Hello Mario
Low wing type has not fuselage part can be caught for HLG way except pod. We recommanded 70mm from L.E.as maiden flight . It is a little bit forward, you can move back to 72-73mm or more as you prefer.

I am going to make a shaped lead plug to put in the nose to get ballast as far forward as possible. I will take your advice on CG for the maiden. My goal is to shave 11g if possible. Maybe it will fly good enough I won't care. It is 4 degrees F right now so maybe no flight today. I won't go unless it is above freezing!
