My wife's going to be packing

My wife, my second son and his wife and myself just sent in for our CHL permit. My wife is pretty doggone good. Out of the four of us, she scored highest. She has a 380 , a 9 mm, and a 410 gauge /45 caliber revolver. The 410 revolver is for home protection. I'll feel safer when she goes to the store by herself. A few years ago, I went to the store to pick up a few thing and had a gun shoved into my ribs by some of our prime citizens holding up the store. You know the kind I mean. The ones that are always good boys that wouldn't do nothing wrong.

Ok, with a gun stuck in your ribs and you with your concealed, holstered and likely unchambered weapon, what do you plan to do?

I recently found out that here in Sacramento county the sheriff has a "shall issue" policy. I have the paper work down loaded and am filling it out.

Ok, he goes to the store, gets a gun stuck in his ribs. He has a concealed weapon. Just what does he plan on doing?

Logic like that leads to people not wearing seat belts or helmets.

Me ... I hand over my wallet and watch him walk away, then call the cops and call my bank.

If he's not satisfied with my wallet, then I look for an opening to draw.

Because wearing a seat belt or a helmet doesn't guarantee you your safety, it only mitigates the risk.

Same thing with a CHL ... it mitigates the risk, it doesn't guarantee you your safety.
