Nothing new


The first Electric launched sailplane I ever saw, in 1975 I think, was a twin pusher by Graupner I believe. It was called a Hi-Fly I think.

Wouldn't quite say that. There is a tiny bit more power to weight available now then in 75...

Instead of a top mounted power pod, use a bottom mounted power pod.
