Didn't take any pics at the field today... Darn hangovers.
But maidened my Gripen , it flew real nice . James mods to his Mirage worked good. Eran maidened his 2 new planes no problem but he was having an interresting time catching the DW Foamie. Mario goofed on his new Trex 500 and tried to maiden it with elevator reversed.. It struck the tail and main blades on power up causing some damage. We came home and James got his Zero done , Thanks Chong for the missing part... and decals. I'm getting on with my next mini F-22... The plane Darrell says everyone should have. |

News Flash - CrazyJohn - crashed and burned his T-28. Elevator ripped off at approximately 200 feet - which led him to the bottom of a small hill and left it a pile of small parts. We are now looking for a new plane(s). Looking for acrobatic and warbirds for sale. Also looking for DX8.
Darrel...I still have the L39. At this point I have more parts than planes and definitely not enough glue. If you like, I can remove the electronics and motor or I can bring you the entire plane...let me know whats best for you. I don't think I am going to get it back in one piece any time soon. Started a new job and free time is hard to come by at the moment. We will be back to the airfield in two weeks...next weekend we are at the all electric event - "Big Jolt" in chino. Night flying on Friday night should be interesting to see. |
