These are the countries who have the worst record for human rights. In fact you have no rights (or very little). Now that Saddam is gone, Iraq is headed in a better direction just like Afghanistan. But, because of mainstream news, people are brain washed into thinking differently. That vid kinda reminded me of the Vietnam Veterans against the war. Our own senator, right here in Massachusetts, John Kerry threw his medals over the fence of the White House during a protest. Now that POS has them displayed proudly in his office. That alone wants to make me puke. He is a disgrace to "every" Vietnam Veteran including myself. Ask anyone about this POS.

back to my land based rc roots, but instead this time its crawling

I bought a losi mini 4x4 trekker and its a blast.

Set up a simple indoor course tonight and had a blast. Also bought some Corrosion Block recommended by hobby shop to coat electronics to keep them save in the event that water or snow gets on them.

It takes a nicad 4.8 volt, but I think it can run off of a 2S lipo as long as you remember it doesnt have an esc that has lvc

I priced them a few months ago as my grandson got a used one for under $20. He got a Jeep, a nice one, at a yard sale. They wanted $30 and my daughter offered $15 anb got it. He lives just down from a hilly cementary and has tons of fun climbing the steep hill with it. However it is much bigger than 1/24 scale.

The ones I priced ranged around $300 and over, yours is a good price.

So far, it has been a jam-packed, adventure-filled rainy weekend on the west coast. The whole weekend was "chores and errands". At least I got the Christmas stuff up or at least set out. I stay away from the placement. I don't get yelled at that way. I learned a few years ago that there are some opinions it is better not to give even if they are requested. You are only going to be over-ruled and dis-agreed with.

I am STILL waiting on my altimeter for my quad. At least by ordering through my LHS, I don't have any money tied up until it actually arrives. According to the forums, there is quite a bit of interest in both the Aquacopter and Phantom quads. Both should make for some interesting flying this spring and summer.
