I heard on another forum that you can use steel wool or a fine grain sand paper on the starter shaft where it rides in the one way bearing. gonna try that.

I took the shaft back out and used 220 grit on the one way bearing part and it seems to be working thus far.

just an idea but you may be able to make a oblong slit in the chassis with a drmel and use a starter box on it and forever solve the problem .
