6S battery sizes for the 59" AJ Slick
Per theKM, 3DHS Team pilot "As for packs... both are perfect for 4S 4000's. going to 6S... this is just about energy density. 6S 2600 is pretty much the same weight as 4S 4000. If you use 6S 2200's, you'll actually have a lighter setup (and shorter flight times as a result), and 6S 3000's a heavier setup. If you use 6S 2600's, you wont have to move anything around as everything should be able to work out the same. 6S 3000's, you may need to use a tail mounted rudder servo."

No. Thats 65+inch plane area. Way to heavy for the 59

I finally got two flights on mine sunday. This plane is amazing! I flew the maiden in 15mph winds and it was totally a non-event. I can't wait to fly her on a calm day.
4315-714, Ice 100 lite, CC BEC, 9650's all around with metal gear conversion on the rudder, 15x7 APC, and a Gens Ace 25c 4s 4000. I read what everyone else was using as I did not want to reinvent the wheel with this project. The power is stunning! I spend most of the flight at half throttle and only burned 2500mah after 6 mins. Thanks to all for my repeated question answering. This plane is for sure a keeper. Lou |

Flown Slick yesterday with Mortrofly 4315-714, Ice Lite 75 and XOAR 15x7 for the first time. Did 40 flights with APC 15x7 before this moment. Wow! There is huge difference between this props! I will never fly APC again. With XOAR it has much more speed and power and it's more predictable in hover, torqu roll and harrier. I was able to bring everything much closer to the ground. Ice Lite 75 withstood 1250W good. I measured peak 84A in static and 81A in flight. ESC was barely warm after flight.
Oh, forgot to mention, I've changed throttle response to high (8) |
