Another beautifull Model Ivan!

What did you use for finishing ? and i see you've added flaps also.

Hello Bart.

I`ve used fiberglass and epoxy for finishing and then standard acrylic spraypaint cans.

Hello Freddy.

Thank You. All up weight is 4.5 Kg plus batteries 2 X 3s 5amp batteries 4.5Hg each so that makes the takeoff weight about 5,4 Kg.

Thank You.
Flying weight incl. batteries i 5.4 Kg. Rivets are made with normal wood glue. Covering is fiberglass and epoxy and then painted with spraycans. No hokus pokus.

Hi all.


Sorry about those weight numbers, i was wrong. The auw is 4,5 Kg including the batteries !! Not so bad i think.

Maybe i should clean up my shop now ?

Hi Ivan!

Nice! We need a Scandinavian meeting soon!

My Albatross has an AUW of 2.8 kg with a 3cell 5000mAh. Of course no flap or any other scale details. The retracted wheels are just stickers. One battery gives me 20 minutes flight time.

I have`nt heard of any one ells but You and me flying Pettygrew models here in Scandinavia. We do have many models together so it sure could be a nice meeting
I just cant belive how you got your model so impressive lite. Fantastic.
