Uss kidd dd 661 ww 2 era

Well this ship will be the world war 2 era Kidd started working on the mast and superstructure from CNC by the way GREAT superstructure kit charles thanks once again, .Just got in the first order of John Haynes fittings, i ordered the double set of quint tubes,5" guns ,radars depth charge aft racks and stacks these stacks come complete with vents and rear pipe work here's a couple of photo's of the work started

I can tell this one is going to be good.
IS it 1.96th scale jerry?

O ya one more thing did the kit come with a hul or are you going to have to build one for it .I hope you got the hull with everything? DON O ya you should bring this build onto my Destroyer board it would fit righ in only if your intrested just a thought.?? DON

Yup i wished it was 1/48th scale but i have to think of the room i have left

Don it came complete but i not a happy camper with the fittings so i up graded to all John Haynes fittings i just got the first of about three orders in the other day as you can see in the photo's

Room I know that feeling . ya 1,48 would be a little big but just think what you could with one in that scale and all of the room to work with. YOU could make all kinds of things work just be turning on swiitchs and a battery. LIKE lights rotating rador guns that could turn just be switching switchs . But then you can do it with yours just a little tighter down in hull but with it being static I am sure you would have the room for yours . Just some thoughts just by useing off and on switchs. Something to think about ?? Don did send you a pm

Man your so lucky R May to have it that close but then again I have the PT 658 not that far from me as well. Looks like were both lucky to have histoy so close to both of us.
Ya I forgot you have the kid near ya. Has any of the stroms mess her up any. When I hear about them I do think about the musumes and the history that is in the area. Just wondering DON

Rmay thanks alot man i'm doing her in ww2 config two sets of tubes and single 20mm i know she has twin 20's but if you can I'd love some photos of the mast area and stacks i guess what ever you can shoot Don (Rustbucket was nice enough to send me a lot of photos but when I open them their in small resolution and the photos are small and you can't really see the details but let me say my friends on this site ,You,Don and Joe are the best ,ahhhhhhhh everybody is great

Don i think the resolution was small from were ever you found them to start the photos do open but very small not your fault man i was just glad to get them
