Got the new controller in 20 min ago. Programmed it, plugged it in, and "Bobs your uncle", it WORKED! The controller was the problem and the new one solved it. Thank you Antslake for helping me trouble shoot every possibility before I purchased another one. Now I can wrap this thing up in the next day or 2 and if weather allows I can go fly this baby before I paint her up.

De controller problem

Hi there guys,

I just purchased this kit, (starter kit) and it was fine when i got it but now, channels 1 and 2 dont work. Its strange though, because when i first plug the de controller into power, they come on and then go off. I have tried resetting eeprom and drivers. Its only channels 1 and 2. Any ideas? It work fine for the first ten mins but now, it seems they are dead. Its weird how they quickly turn on, then go back off. Channels one and two are getting power obviously. Any ideas??

I want to run a nav light and beacon in each wingtip. It looks as if the positives of the connector block are all connected. If I use a 3 wire servo extension out to the wing and run my 150 ma LED's near max current will this setup have any decreased performance? I would set it up for Red + shared by two LED's, Black to neg on an LED and the 'signal' wire to the other LED Neg..

You will have no issues using the controller this way. The positive is shared and the ground is switched.

Best,

With the three LEDs do I just need to experiment with other values below 50% until I get a perceptible drop in brightness? I reprogrammed with 20% and 30% and now I can see it dim, with the 20% being more noticeable than 30.

Here's another little quirk I wonder if anyone else has experienced. When I plugged in the delink just now to reprogram these changes, only one LED came on and when I hit "program" it said unable to connect to delink. (See attached screenshot.) I unplugged the delink from the USB cable and plugged it in again. This time 2 LEDs came on and still unable to connect. I unplugged and plugged in again and 3 LEDs came on, and unable to connect. Then I unplugged and plugged in again and 4 came on and it DID connect. Weird.
resurrecting this. i love this system, but have the same problem with connecting. I was able to program it once, but thats it.

thats awesome did you add the sound to the video, or is it a onboard sound module?

I haven't had much luck flying the f86 ..cg problems and not having the sized packs that fit

it was just a mock up for my cessna because I dont have room for the wings to be installed to test the look of the leds

Actually the audio track was something I composed using jet engine tracks and a few select audio grabs from an old TV show.

Intro - Six Million Dollar Man (1 min 27 sec)
