Where to get the guiding tubes and flexible wire?

Hello,

I'd like to know if the flexible pushrods and guide tunes can be bought separate from the sailplanes and if so, where?

I think this is what you are looking for. That is just the flexible tubing. For push rods you can use music wire if you can find it long enough in the right dimensions or steel fishing leader line. My last couple planes used fishing leader line and it works fine.

I also routinely use (and endorse) www.RCBuilder.com for steel push rods in teflon.

I will also use carbon rods in teflon, available from www.olgol.com

Both work really, really well.

Yours, Greg

What does that mean? That word. I tried to find a definition. No luck. Plural of rea?

Thank you very much for the replies. I want the response, always zero-Ing control provided by long guided pushrods. I suppose direct rods are "better" but when you need all the weight you can get forward to get your cg right...

Anyway, thanks again.

Been a while since I have soared.

Hey guys, I want to ask for some pictures.

Specifically how the servo is linked to the control horn.

I don't like Z-bends. I am looking for no-flex, no bind, no wiggle. For the longest time I have been using paperclips since the servos are normally very close to the control surface. Otherwise I would use coffee stir straws with some picture hanging wire... but I want to put some quality into my work. I want to increase the life span of my plane from a week or so to a few months.

I'd appreciate the help.
