Yes they are Enjoy Models 1.4A 2s1p packs, today I've been getting 30 to 40 mins of flight time before I notice a considerable drop off in power, they are are new cells and are getting better with each new charge.

Today all togther I've logged nearly 8 30-40 min flights, but had to call it a day after my TX packs were on low and beeping at me to bring my moth in, but what a day sure was lovely and warm, bloody great for floating on the odd thermals and best of all loads of fun flights and no prangs, plus I even got a little burnt, great for september here


And here's those pics you asked for, I just used my best jugement to locate the thrust line just a couple degrees to the right, I widened the channel with a dremmel (well a cheapo copy of a dremmel, ok for foam) and more or less mounted it nearer to the right fuse side. Hope this make sense. Or you could do it the DaveWCO way, upto you.

There are also some post somewhere maybe in tmstory2 I'm sure of an adjustable stick mounting so you can use your single or dual and also an adjustable one to enable alteration of the thrust line, cool eh, happy searchings

what flight times are you getting on you 700mah joy model packs then?

My control wires are what we call push pull system, one to pull left, one pull right, one to pull up, and one to pull down. Hope this shot makes it clearer.

Well my dual motors were quite hot after my 30-40 min flights with the esc and flight pack warm to touch, I suppose thery were not quite made for these durations, but the motor cooled quite quickerly, I would'nt mind the heat sinks if I can source them.

Have a good days flight anyway, mines been great, now for some pub time.

thonobuc, Qualcom batts are HEAVY! They were my first venture into LI PO batts, since then I have used Wild rc (IFO people) Li Po cells 950ma, light 2 or 3 cell packs. The 3 cell pack works well with the TM and dual ips motors with throttle management.

I always assumed that "Qualcomms" was being used to refer to any of the 18650 style cells taken out of a Qualcomm cell phone pack. If this is not the case then can someone describe these Qualcomms and post a picture of what they look like and the details for Gene and I.

I use Sony 1200Mah 18650s and love them. Today I achieved 36 minutes on one and had actually forgotten to get my timer going between flights for about 2 or 3 minutes. I think they will go 40 minutes with throttle management. Oh my bug is a 10oz fatty.

I also built four Panasonic 1400Mah CGR18650s but haven't run any of them yet. Eventually I will go li-poly but will reserve that purchase until I find favorite flyer because I am not a convert to field charging and like leaving the home with all my tanks filled so-to-speak.
