That's where I got mine from, delivered in pieces hoping they will sort me out with replacement parts

Getting close to finishing my T-45. Powered it up and WOW! A 64mm being the largest thing I have flown this thing has a lot of power. Still need to position the battery for a cg of 105mm and make a nest for it. Then I'll get a weight on her.

I'm thinking that those motors are a little low in kv to get decent performance from this plane for the weights of the batts needed to get good performance...(Needing 10S to get over 3000 watts)...I'm running an 1865kv motor on 8S...My setup produces on paper a little over 3000 watts and 55K RPM with an HET 9305 fan....This puppy performs like a jet is supposed to!!!!...Yes, I am running slightly over 100 amps but using 45C 5000mAh batts vs about 85 amps given the 8S HK setup...

All in all---I think that you can do better than to go with this fan/motor combo...

Successful maiden yesterday. Our runway is mostly grass but we do have a small fabric runway. Its about 15' wide and 150' long. Was afraid it would be too short for take off and too narrow to hit on landing. I let a friend with much more experiance take her up. He was just able to get her wheels up at the end of the runway and kept it low to get some speed before pulling up. She flew well and just a few clicks here and there for trim. CG at 105 seemed good. Flew about 3.5 minutes I guess. The landing on the grass was a bit rough on the nose gear, ripping the stearing servo linkages out (easy fix). ESC was cool and battery still had 57% charge. Sure looked nice in the air. Sorry no pics.

Someone did get some pics of my T-45 maiden. The 1st is a series of photos of the 1st aborted takeoff. The plane was leveled out but was heading toward the bushes to the left of the runway. Without enough speed to clear the bushes the plane was set down. The second photo is of the successfull maiden.

Holy crap! You must have some power underneath the hood. I can't believe you didn't tip stall during the 85 degree angle of bank turn off the runway!

Those extra obstacles around the field always keep things interesting
