Helium.....Not Hydrogen.

The hydrogen is really great to work with but can be dangerous if you don't know what you are doing. Even if you light a hydrogen ship on fire the hydrogen will not burn until it has mixed with enough oxygen. The gas is so light that it escapes and dissipates before the mixture can become explosive. If we open a valve and light the escaping gas the flame and heat stays a few inches away from the skin of the ship. Close the valve the flame goes right out.

In the case of the Hindenburg the skin was extremely flammable and is actually the starting point of the fire. After the skin had burned off and gas began to release it would only burn after it floats up and mixes with oxygen to ignite. That is why it took so long for the Hindenburg to burn. Also the only people who died were the ones that jumped to the ground when they saw the skin on fire. Those who waited for it to come slowly down after hydrogen had escaped from the top were able to step off unharmed.

Hydrogen is easy to make. hydrogen peroxide and copper plates and a little electron flow just sayin

Price drop as the winds have been favorable and someone needs to be flying this thing. I am too busy to get down to the Point to make keeping it an option.

I also have a V-ultra that I will sell as well. I don't have any photos of that one yet but will work on it. Asking $375 for that one. It is a 3 piece wing, Vtail, fullhouse sailplane in red and yellow. Colby almost bought it before he got the screamer deal on his existing 3m. Marty has/had one too. This would be a great entry 3m sloper that wont break the bank. I actually put in my fastest F3F time with this one and not the Ascot. Come with two brass ballast rods that sit either side of the fuse. Can run two, one or none as the wind dictates.
