You can't go wrong with a good 'ol NACA 24 series for general sport use including some inverted flight and scalelike aerobatics. An NACA 2412 for a speedier design on up to a 2418 for a slower machine. Personally, I like the 2414 or 2415.
I have used the Selig S3086 and S3087 for the same type aircraft with good success....they were purposely designed and wind tunnel tested for model use whereas the NACA types were designed years ago for the full scale world. There are plenty of pundits that will tell you that airfoil subtleties don't make a hill of beans difference but I choose to think that it does....you pays yer money & you makes your choice!
