Well I'm going back to the brush, can't get the hang of the airbrush. Added .3 oz to the plane. Now to test a few new motors at work to hopefully find one that will fly this thing one 2 cells and add only a couple oz to it. I want it to come in at less than 8 oz.

Depron Destiny

Great looking plan TOG..I am jealous...

Had to work this weekend and during a boring time late in the afternoon, as I was reading this thread, the Fedex guy walked in the door with my shipment of Depron. Following is the pictures of my Deprom Amos Moses which I have named Moe Powah. I intend to put a Park 400 Outrunner on it. The airframe as pictured without any hardware and only partial decoration come is at just under 3 oz. The edges of the stuff sands really easily too. Thanks EWO. This has been such a fun plane to build. Will update you with info after the maiden.

Let me make a correction to my previous post. It was BORING at work which gave me the opportunity to read this EXITING thread, at which point the Fed Ex guy making a Saturday deliver no less, came in with my Shipment of Depron. So, I figure, I'll print out the plans and start tracing them right now so I can cut them out when I get home. My main 3d plane recently Bit the Big One for the last time so ....Here it is the Amos Moses "Moe Powah" which is a phrase my Karate instructor used to say when I was hitting the bag he was holding. I can't get it out of my head and it's been 12 years since I heard it. "Moe Harda" was his other one. Thanks for letting me clarify.

They are tiled. Somewhere in this thread. That's how I got mine and cut it out.

Good Flying

Tiled for Letter US not A4

For popular plans, which this one is, they seem to be tiled for all formats these days. When I open it in Adobe it automatically defaults to letter paper 8.5 x 11 inches. I need A4. Perhaps I will look back and see who tiled the plans for EWO. Thanks for the pointer.

Well,I'm way behinde you guys. You come out with a new design faster than I can get the first one built. I finally got the templates made for the fuse, and wings. I need to get with it! It will be great flying weather before I know it. O'l inspector 13,is giving it the once over, before it's built. RR

Maiden Success

Flew the Moe Powah Amos Moses today. AUW ended up at 12 oz. First flight had the battery too far forward. So gliding was out of the question. I also had to add a carbon rod on the LE for stiffness. Should have just run another longer one the length of the wing and through the fuse, but several guys who have built with FFF lately have added to the LE and it work well for them. However, they did not already have one through the middle of the wing like I did.
Second flight I added the new Multipod and video taped the flight. I had it pointed down running up under one of the shocks and the first few minutes are of me trying to get the plane under control. brought it back down and moved the battery forward for better balance. Second video segment is much better. Has a few rolls and loops in it, but debating whether to post it or not. Any way the plane is awesome
Runs well with the 3s 1500 or the 3s 640 just in different positions. Just like EWO said, want to do a little 3d, move it rearwards. Move it forwards and it is pretty fast and highly aerobatic.
Will post pics and or video later..
